Walhalla Goldfields Railway has two DH Locomotive engines. They are the type of engines our railway needs to help us keep moving, now and into the future. The problem is the bogies on these engines are the wrong gauge to run on our line, they need to be re-gauged from 3′ 6″ to 2′ 6″. To do this the project is estimated to cost around $230,000. So far Walhalla Goldfields Railway has been unlucky in securing any grants to help in the re-gauging process, so we are asking for help from the wider community. If you would like to help us see this project come to fruition WGR would be very grateful for your donation to help keep us moving and to contribute to the tourism sector in the local community.

Any donations over $2.00 are tax deductible and donor will be issued with a tax receipt for tax purposes. All funds will be used for the restoration and re-gauging of either of the two DH Locomotives which Walhalla Goldfields Railway own. News of restoration will be displayed on the WGR facebook page.
